“We are thrilled to have Mark Sullivan join our team, contributing his wealth of experience in Maine policy and communications to MECEP’s continuing promotion of solutions for Maine’s challenges and opportunities,” said MECEP Executive Director Christopher “Kit” St. John. “We are certain he will help us gain greater support for policies that foster more fairly shared prosperity .”
A resident of Hallowell for more than 25 years, Sullivan has also served as a member of the boards of Equality Maine, the Natural Resources Council of Maine, and the Maine Association of Conservation Commissions.
“I am very excited to join MECEP’s efforts to promote policies that ensure a strong, fair and sustainable economy where all Maine people have the opportunity to realize better lives for themselves, their family and their community,” Sullivan said. “I have long admired MECEP’s outstanding research, policy development and advocacy efforts. I look forward to working with Kit, the other MECEP staff and the MECEP board to build upon this record of accomplishment.”
