MDP responds to LePage Florida property tax breaks

Maine Democratic Party members are calling Lepage’s alleged actions “hypocritical” due to his reported push to phase out Maine’s income tax, and a previous push to eliminate the homestead tax in a previous budget as reported by Maine Center for Economic Policy.
