Union organizing is way up — but it’s not rising as fast as non-union job creation

A new report by the Maine Center for Economic Policy (MECEP) about the state of labor organizing in Maine and around the country argues that both state and federal policymakers will need to take concerted action to increase the percentage of unionized workers and begin to tip the balance of power towards the working class.
